I was really hungry. We were only an hour outside of Oslo with 3 more to go. As she rolled into a parking space, she told me to go into the Butikk and get a snack.
I got out and stood at the trunk for about 30 seconds before she leaned out and said: "What the hell are you doing? Go get something to eat!" pointing to the entrance of the convenience store with a raised eyebrow questioning my intelligence.
I thought Butikk was a Norwegian way to say the trunk of the car like how the British say boot. Turns out I was wrong."

This was a relatable travel moment. Language differences can easily create small misunderstandings like this, especially when visiting a new country. I remember reading travel stories like this during my final year at university while trying to finish my research work, and at one point I even thought about Hire dissertation writers because the pressure of deadlines was getting intense. Moments like this remind me how travel and simple stories can give a nice break from stressful study days. Nice post.
